Don Habben’s 1957 Corvette that we had just finished in January of 2017 and debuted at the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona California, went to the Detroit Autorama and was put on display. The car is powered by an LSA Cadillac injected motor with a 6 speed transmission and independent rear suspension. There are many subtle body modifications and the car is bathed in a 1958 Panama Yellow color overlaid with several clear coats with true Murano yellow transmission pearl. The interior is done in a mellow yellow leather. The car sports a 1953 Vette windshield, “one-off” wheels, bumpers, chassis, engine cover and parking light housings and lenses. In Detroit the car was awarded the prestigious “CASI Cup”, a “1st in Class” award and the ISCA “Best Custom” award. The ’57 Corvette continues to do very well every time it is shown and is a big hit with spectators. Congratulations Don!
